Electrical Interconnection Sample Clauses

The Electrical Interconnection clause defines the requirements and responsibilities for physically and electrically connecting a facility or equipment to an existing electrical grid or system. It typically outlines the technical standards, approval processes, and any necessary equipment or modifications needed to ensure a safe and reliable connection. This clause ensures that both parties understand their obligations regarding the interconnection, thereby minimizing risks of electrical faults, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating the smooth integration of new systems into the existing infrastructure.

Electrical Interconnection. The evacuation of electric power to be generated by the Facility will be through Chandraghona 132/33 kV Substation, 50-60. The proposed power plant will be connected to the 132 kV bus of Chandraghona 132/33 kV Grid Substation by a 132 kV single circuit overhead or underground line (Interconnection line). This said interconnection line from the Facility to Chandraghona substation will be implemented by the company at its own cost including arrangement of necessary right of way. The company will also construct necessary 132kV bay (GIS or AIS) at Chandraghona 132kV substation including obtaining of necessary land with its own responsibility. In addition to that the sponsor will install, operate and maintain separate 132 kV interfacing breaker for its machine at the high voltage side of step-up Transformer and also construct the connecting lines for connection. The required 132 kV bay extension including circuit breaker, CT, PT, LA, panel etc. of 132/33 kV Chandraghona Grid Substation will be implemented by the Company at its own cost and responsibility. The EIF will be completed in consultation and approval of PGCB. The Company shall be responsible to maintain, operate and repair (including any replacement of the equipment) of the Electric Interconnection Facility ascribed in this Section at its own cost and responsibility during the Term of this Agreement.
Electrical Interconnection. Engineer, design, construct and commission any interconnection facilities needed beyond the generation step up transformer as further described in Exhibit A (“Owner’s Interconnection Facilities”).
Electrical Interconnection. The evacuation of electric power to be generated by the Facility, will be through Chandpur 132/33 kV Grid Substation, Chandpur, Bangladesh. The proposed power plant will be connected to the Chandpur 132/33 kV Grid Substation, Chandpur by a single ckt 132 kV (O/H or U/G, as required) line (Interconnection line) from proposed power plant. This interconnection line will be implemented by the Project Company at its own cost and responsibility. The Company shall be responsible to maintain, operate and repair (including any replacement of the equipment) this interconnection line at its own cost and responsibility during the Term of the Power Purchase Agreement. The Sponsor will also arrange necessary right of way for constructing Electrical Interconnection from its power plant to PGCB’s substation. In addition to that the Project Sponsor will install, operate & maintain separate 132 kV synchronizing breaker for its machine at the high voltage side of step-up Transformer and also construct the connecting lines for connection. The required 132 kV GIS bay extension including circuit breaker, CT, PT, panel etc. of Chandpur 132/33 kV Grid Substation, Chandpur will be implemented by the Project Sponsor at its own cost and responsibility. The Sponsor will arrange necessary land for construction of 132 kV bay (if required). The evacuation system will be completed in consultation and approval of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB). The Facility will be constructed at a land near to Chandpur 132/33 kV Grid Substation, Chandpur to be arranged by the Company at its own cost. Required development, filling upto final elevation, leveling, compacting etc. of the land will be the responsibility of the Company. The access road to the Site will also be the responsibility of the Company. The Company shall also generate matching MVARh corresponding to maintain the power factor 0.85 lagging, so that there is no adverse effect on the Grid System. If needed to satisfy the requirement in this Section 3.2, the Company, to enhance the Reactive Power capability of the Facility, at its own cost and expense, shall install a static VAR compensator (SVC), a static synchronous compensator (SATCOM), and/or other reactive support equipment at the Facility. Due to the connection of the Facility to the electrical system, if any impact on grid happens (Like: Low voltage problem, Stability problem, Frequency problem etc.) which needs to be sort out and completion of necessary measures to mitigate...
Electrical Interconnection. Engineer, design, construct and commission Contractor’s Interconnection Facilities in accordance with the specifications and requirements of Georgia Power Company as transmission provider. Additionally, Contractor shall (i) prior to the Substantial Completion Date, provide Owner with all required drawings, information, documents, specifications and progress reports as required by Owner and (ii) prior to the Substantial Completion Date, perform any testing and subsequent modifications as required by Owner.
Electrical Interconnection. Owner shall arrange for the Utility's electrical interconnection facilities between the Electrical Interconnection Point and the Utility's transmission system to be constructed and made available for interconnection with the Facility at the Electrical Interconnection Point at least eight (8) months prior to the Guaranteed Provisional Acceptance Date (provided that Contractor has made the Facility available as reasonably required to permit such interconnection to have been made by such date).
