Elective Courses. Certified employees who are matriculating in a Masters Degree program shall be reimbursed for elective courses outside their current teaching field or staff assignment only under the following circumstances: (a) The Masters Degree program is in field of education; (b) A list of elective subjects offered by the institution awarding such degrees is submitted to the Superintendent of Schools (prior to course registration) who shall designate which subjects are of preferable benefits to the Pleasantville School System in this judgment; (c) Only those approved elective subjects within a degree program as described herein shall be eligible for reimbursement.
