Common use of Effectiveness of Provisions Clause in Contracts

Effectiveness of Provisions. If and to the extent that any of the provisions of subsections (c) to (j) below (inclusive) relate to the United Kingdom or any other state (or Sterling or the currency of any such other state) that is not a participating member state on the commencement of the third stage of EMU, such provision shall become effective in relation to the United Kingdom or such other state (and Sterling or the currency of such other state) at and from the date on which the United Kingdom or such other state becomes a participating member state.
