Common use of EffectiveDate Clause in Contracts

EffectiveDate. The Effective Date is as of the signing of this Contract or the date Services and/or Products were first provided to CUSTOMER, whichever comes first. 26 RECOVERY OF ATTORNEYS FEES AND COSTS: Where there is an obligation in this Contract to pay or owe attorney fees and costs, whether it is in connection with a defense and indemnity obligation or otherwise, that obligation shall include also the broader obligation to pay or owe attorney fees and costs incurred in pursuing and enforcing that obligation and collecting those attorney fees and costs, through litigation or administrative proceedings or otherwise.
