Effective Services Clause Samples

The 'Effective Services' clause defines when and under what conditions the services outlined in an agreement are considered to have commenced and are being properly delivered. Typically, this clause specifies the start date of the services, any prerequisites that must be met before services begin, and may outline the standards or criteria for what constitutes effective performance. For example, it might state that services are effective upon mutual execution of the contract or upon completion of certain onboarding steps. The core function of this clause is to provide clarity for both parties regarding when obligations related to service delivery begin, thereby reducing the risk of disputes over timing or performance expectations.
