Effective Dates; Transitional Provisions. The provisions of Parts One, ---------------------------------------- Two, Four and Five of this Agreement and the Tariff became effective on the First Effective Date and replaced on the First Effective Date the provisions of Sections 1-8, inclusive, 10, 11, 13, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4 and 16 of the Prior NEPOOL Agreement. The provisions of Sections 12.1(a), 12.2, 12.4 (as to Installed Capability only), 12.5 and 12.7(a) of this Agreement became effective on April 1, 1998 and replaced on such date the provisions of Section 9 of the Prior NEPOOL Agreement. The effectiveness of the remaining Sections of this Restated NEPOOL Agreement shall be delayed pending the preparation of implementing criteria, rules and standards and computer programs. These Sections shall become effective on the Second Effective Date and shall replace on the Second Effective Date the remaining provisions of the Prior NEPOOL Agreement, which shall continue in effect until the Second Effective Date. As provided in Section 14, certain portions of Section 14 which will become effective on the Second Effective Date will be superseded on the Third Effective Date by other portions of Section 14.
