Effective Date of the Contract. The date indicated on the Contract or as otherwise specified therein.

The month of purchase applies for billing purposes. Therefore, the minimum term of a Normica service contract is 7 to 18 months. These annual fees are due and payable in advance. Terms of two or three years are also available. Customers who conclude Normica service contracts with a term of several years benefit from price protection during the contract term. However, said price protection applies solely to the software specified in the service contract.
Effective Date of the Contract. The contract shall come into effect on the date of signatures of both the parties on the contract (Effective Date) and shall remain valid until the completion of the obligations of the parties under the contract. The deliveries and supplies and performance of the services shall commence from the effective date of the contract. The main contract is expected to continue for twelve months from the date of signing of the contract. However the contract may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the PCDA(P), depending on the performance of the firm. PCDA (P) reserves the right to terminate the contract with immediate effect if the services are found to be unsatisfactory without assigning any reason.
