Common use of Effective Date and Closing Date Clause in Contracts

Effective Date and Closing Date. Seller’s conveyance of the Subject Property to Buyer shall be effective as of February 28, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. CST (the “Effective Date”), with title being deemed delivered to the Buyer as of that date. The Closing shall take place on or before March 5, 2014 (the “Closing Date”) unless extended by agreement of the Parties. The Closing may take place either in person at the offices of the Buyer or electronically, if mutually agreed to by the Parties.
