Common use of Easement Fee Clause in Contracts

Easement Fee. (a) Grantee shall pay to the County an annual fee (the "Easement Fee") of five dollars ($5.00) per lineal foot for the use of the Premises. The lineal distance, which the Equipment occupies in the Premises, is approximately eighty­five (85) lineal feet. The initial annual Easement Fee is, therefore, four hundred and twenty­five dollars ($485). The Easement Fee shall increase annually by Three percent (3%) effective as of each anniversary of the Effective Date of this Easement throughout the initial term and any renewal term of this Easement. The first payment shall be due upon execution of this Easement. Subsequent Easement Fee payments shall be due on or before the anniversary of the Effective Date of this Easement. All payments are to be made to payable to the Milwaukee County Treasurer and sent or personally delivered to the County's Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture at the address specified in Paragraph 21. (b) Fifty percent of the annual Easement Fee shall be placed in a trust fund for bike trail maintenance, security, and care of bike trails. This amount may be accumulated for larger projects and may be used as a match for grants or other funds without limitation. (c) The remaining fifty percent of the annual Easement Fee shall be placed in a trust fund for the purpose of funding purchase and/or repairs to playground equipment and playground areas.
