EARLY TERMINATION REFUND Clause Samples
The Early Termination Refund clause outlines the conditions under which a party is entitled to a refund if a contract is ended before its agreed-upon completion date. Typically, this clause specifies the amount or method for calculating the refund, such as a prorated return of fees based on the unused portion of services or products. Its core function is to provide financial fairness and clarity in the event of early contract termination, ensuring that parties are not unduly penalized or left uncertain about their financial obligations.
