Common use of Early Termination for Convenience of County Clause in Contracts

Early Termination for Convenience of County. County may, at its sole option, terminate this Agreement at any time for its convenience and without cause. Upon receipt of such notice, Contractor shall be subject to this subsection and §5(a)(i). County shall provide Contractor written notice of such termination in accordance with §6, and such notice shall specify the effective date of the termination. If County terminates for convenience, Contractor will be paid for Work completed and unpaid prior to the effective date of termination as follows:
