Duties Outside the Classroom Clause Samples
Duties Outside the Classroom. The regular or normal duties for which a teacher is employed under his or her continuing contract include duties outside teaching in the classroom, and included in such duties are those generally shared by all teachers during the school day.
Duties Outside the Classroom. Outside the classroom, the ordinary duties associated with being a full-time, tenure-track teacher include: availability and willingness to consult with students on an informal basis; willingness to supervise students in independent research projects; willingness to participate in co-curricular activities of an academic nature (judging competitions; assisting law review writers and editors, etc.). We affirm the value of cura personalis and expect faculty seeking tenure to reflect that value in fulfilling their teaching duties.
