DUTIES OF THE PAYING AGENTS. 6.1 Subject to the payments to the Principal Paying Agent provided for by clause 4 being duly made and subject to the provisions of clause 7, the Paying Agents shall act as paying agents of the Issuer and/or the Guarantors in respect of the Notes and pay or cause to be paid on behalf of the Issuer and/or the Guarantors, on and after each date on which any payment becomes due and payable, the amounts of principal and/or interest then payable on surrender or, in the case of a Global Note, endorsement, of Notes or Coupons under the Conditions and this Agreement. If any payment provided for by clause 4 is made late but otherwise under the terms of this Agreement the Paying Agents shall nevertheless act as paying agents following receipt by them of payment.
