These services may include, but are not limited to, preparing the design schematic to an equivalent 30% PS&E level of detail, public involvement, surveying and mapping, subsurface utility engineering (XXX), environmental clearance, storm drain design, bridge design, traffic control layout and cross sections for the US 271 widening from SH 300 in Gilmer, TX to the Xxxxx County Line located 0.1 mi North of FM 2275. Additionally, the Engineer shall provide engineering services required for the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) and related documents, as requested by the State. These services may include, but are not limited to, preparing roadway design, hydrologic and hydraulic design, bridge design, survey and ROW mapping, and geotechnical data collection, and, if requested, provide design support and testify as the Engineer of Record at Right of Way hearings necessary to support the design process. The Engineer shall complete the services to be provided by the Engineer according to the milestone work schedule established in the work authorizations. The Engineer shall submit a written progress report to the State monthly indicating the actual work accomplished during the month, scheduled work to be accomplished for the month, and the estimated work to be accomplished for the coming month. The Engineer is required to meet with the designated State project manager and environmental coordinator on a monthly basis for progress tracking purposes unless prior agreement is made with State not to hold a meeting in any given month. The Engineer shall submit minutes of the meeting, summarizing the events of the meeting within seven calendar days after each meeting. The Engineer shall prepare a project work schedule. The work schedule must incorporate an allocation of time for stage reviews of the design schematic, survey, ROW Mapping, PS&E and the environmental documents by State personnel. The Engineer shall present the work schedule to the State for review and acceptance, and provide assistance in interpreting the proposed work schedule.

Provide existing hydraulic and hydrologic studies associated with the project and project area if available. • Provide areas of wetlands delineation to be surveyed by the Engineer. • Provide data, if available, including “as-built plans”, existing cross sections, existing channel and drainage easement data. Signing, Pavement Markings and Signalization (Permanent) • Furnish traffic signal justification warrants, if applicable. • Available traffic counts, traffic projects and accident data, if available. Miscellaneous (Roadway) • Provide example estimates, district general notes and standards, sample specification lists and related hard copy documentation for the Engineer's use in preparing the preliminary estimate, general notes and specifications. • Provide a maximum project cost to be used in the preparation of the preliminary design. • Furnish tabulation of current applicable bid process, if applicable. • Negotiate with each project utility company for relocation agreements or required relocation as applicable.
