Common use of Drafted Mutually Clause in Contracts

Drafted Mutually. For the purpose of construing or interpreting this Settlement Agreement, the Settlement Class and Fieldale shall be deemed to have drafted it equally, and it shall not be construed strictly for or against any party. The Settlement and all negotiations, discussions, and proceedings leading up to and in connection herewith shall not be deemed to constitute a presumption, concession, or an admission by any Settling Party or any of the Released Parties of any fault, liability, or wrongdoing by it, or as to the merits of any claim or defense.
