A Draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is a preliminary agreement that outlines the basic terms and intentions of parties considering a future formal arrangement. By documenting the initial understanding, a Draft MOU helps clarify each party's interests and objectives, reducing the risk of misunderstandings as discussions progress toward a final, binding contract.
