Common use of DPSST Certification Clause in Contracts

DPSST Certification. It shall be a condition of employment that all employees receive and retain their basic certification by the Department of Public Safety and Standards Training (DPSST) during their first year of employment. The Employer shall submit all paperwork for employee certification with the DPSST within the first ninety (90) days of the employee’s hire and the employee shall receive verification of the paperwork submitted. The requirement to receive DPSST training within one year may be waived if availability of classes is a factor.
