Double Shifting Sample Clauses
The Double Shifting clause defines the rules and conditions under which an employee may be required or permitted to work two consecutive shifts within a single workday or over a short period. Typically, this clause outlines the maximum allowable hours, required rest periods between shifts, and any additional compensation or overtime pay that applies when double shifts are assigned. Double Shifting. For purposes of double shifting, off production Employees may be subject to replacement after ten (10) hours of work.
Double Shifting. Prior to the first day of September 1975, a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may be required to work a double shift at the rate of pay provided hereinafter. On and after that date the following provisions will apply:
(a) In the event of an emergency, a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will work such number of hours or shifts as are reasonably required of him/her. Other than in the event of an emergency, double shifts will not be permitted except as hereinafter provided.
(b) When no other suitable ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is available to the COMPANY to work that shift a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may be requested to work a double shift and if he/she sees fit, he/she may work that double shift.
Double Shifting. If an employee is scheduled for a double shift they will not be required to work in excess of fourteen consecutive (14) hours.
