DoD RMF Sample Clauses
The DoD RMF (Department of Defense Risk Management Framework) clause establishes requirements for managing cybersecurity risks in systems used or developed for the Department of Defense. It typically mandates that contractors or service providers follow a structured process to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, often referencing specific controls and assessment procedures outlined by the DoD. This clause ensures that all information systems meet standardized security requirements, thereby protecting sensitive data and maintaining operational integrity within defense-related projects.
DoD RMF. The Contractor shall provide electronic and on-site technical assistance and support to DIACAP/DoD RMF transition questions. The Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and DoD Regulation dictate that DoD systems are DoD RMF compliant. Technical assistance and support shall further compliance of the transition from DIACAP to DoD RMF. The Government estimates that technical assistance and support will be in regards to existing MTCs transition and the procedures for future MTC DoD RMF accreditation.
