Documentation Charge Clause Samples

A Documentation Charge clause establishes a fee that one party must pay to cover the costs associated with preparing, reviewing, or processing legal or contractual documents. This charge may apply to the drafting of agreements, amendments, or other required paperwork, and is typically specified as a fixed amount or calculated based on the complexity of the documentation. The core function of this clause is to ensure that the administrative and legal expenses incurred during the documentation process are fairly allocated, preventing disputes over who bears these costs.
