DOCKING OR UNDOCKING Sample Clauses

The DOCKING OR UNDOCKING clause defines the procedures and responsibilities related to the arrival (docking) and departure (undocking) of a vessel at a port or facility. It typically outlines which party is responsible for arranging and paying for tugboats, pilots, and other necessary services, as well as the timing and coordination required to safely maneuver the vessel. This clause ensures that both parties understand their obligations during these critical operations, minimizing delays, clarifying cost allocation, and reducing the risk of accidents or disputes during the vessel's movement in and out of the dock.
