District Level Participation. 1. The Board of Education and the Superintendent are primarily responsible for estab- lishing District directions and expectations. However, it is critical to provide increased opportunities for staff involvement in District-level decisions to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ the collegial exchange of ideas and information for the continued improvement of the educational process. Such involvement is most meaningful when incorporated as an integral part of decision making and is within the regular direction and expectation setting process at all levels. District level departments and functions should seek to provide the broadest level of involvement possible.
