The District Grants clause outlines the terms and conditions under which grants are provided by a district authority to eligible recipients. District Grants. The Board may commit funds annually to an in district grant program to encourage innovative practices. Applications shall be submitted to the Superintendent. The Board will establish funding priorities based on the district strategic plan. Proposals shall include the issue in the strategic plan to be addressed, proposed innovative idea/program, method or methods of evaluation, and a proposed budget.
District Grants. (a) Provision of grants to improve quality, enrollment and attendance at the district level in the Selected Districts, in accordance with the POM.
(b) Minor rehabilitation of the DEO and other educational institutions under MoE in the Selected Districts in accordance with the POM.
