District Committees. 5.1 Appointment of Committees District advisory committees responsible for evaluation and recommending modification of the Park Hill policies and academic calendar shall be appointed and maintained in the following manner:
District Committees a. District Committees shall be struck, in accordance with Article F.22.2.c, for the purpose of consultation regarding matters concerning the implementation of either provincial or local new curricula. The District Committees will:
District Committees a representative of the Coalition serving as such on a district committee.
District Committees. The teaching staff, including a bargaining unit representative chosen by the Association, will be involved in District-wide committees directly affecting certificated personnel.
District Committees. The Association President shall have the right to appoint one member to serve on District committees upon which unit members serve. The District shall provide the Association with a list of unit members serving on current committees. The Association President may appoint an additional unit member to serve as a representative.
District Committees. Teachers working on District-wide committees shall be compensated at the committee rate per hour for attendance at committee meetings held beyond the regular workday or work year. District committees must be authorized by the superintendent or designee. Teacher participation and compensation for committee work must be approved by the superintendent or designee. The committee structure will include a specific charge/purpose, a description of the size and composition of the committee, timelines, and a statement of authority. Each committee will be co-chaired by a representative of the Board/Administrative group and the QBEA. Each committee will publish minutes of its meetings on the intranet. Committees will follow PLC (Professional Learning Communities) guidelines and norms including consensus decision- making and collaboration.
District Committees. The District will publicize to XXX the membership and purpose of all committees established by the Governing Board or the Superintendent.
District Committees. Certified teachers who serve on district committees shall be allowed to leave at the close of the student day on the days the committee is meeting.
District Committees i. Maximum credit - Six (6) semester hours within each increment on the salary scale.
District Committees. It is recognized that the District, to xxxxxx professional collaboration, forms committees. The District and Association shall be represented by a variety of stakeholders, and both the District and the Association shall appoint representatives to all District committees.
