Common use of Distribution of Assignments Clause in Contracts

Distribution of Assignments. Assignments to Part-time Faculty will be based first on program needs. Program needs include, but are not limited to, the unit member’s qualifications to carry out the assignment and his/her education, expertise, and/or demonstrated experience in aspects specific to the assignment; unit member ability to use and expose students to current information, technology, and skills required in this assignment; unit member availability at needed times; and the unit member’s previous performance record (satisfactory or better and adherence to District Rules and Regulations). District program needs shall have priority over the Part-time Seniority List. (See Article 18B.2 below.)
