Common use of Disputing a Statement Clause in Contracts

Disputing a Statement. a) A Producer who believes there is an error in their statement must send a written notice to Greenmarket including, the date, market, dollar amount and brief explanation of the disputed item, before the due date on the statement where the item first appeared. (1) During a dispute, Producers are obligated to pay the parts of the statement that are not in dispute. (2) Producers do not have to pay the disputed amount and will not be charged late payment fees while the dispute is being investigated.
