Displaced Drivers. If a run number ceases to exist, the owner of the run number is now displaced. The displaced driver will have the option to: in the event of multiple drivers, seniority shall govern to take an open available posting. In the absence of an available posting the displaced driver shall be offered the run of the lowest seniority driver, if the displaced driver declines the run they will be put on the spare drivers list. Drivers that bid on a Temporary or Permanent Route must forfeit the route they are on within a 5 day period. All owned temporary routes will be reposted on a yearly basis on the day of the Startup meeting. Drivers who do not own runs, can sign and own a temporary run. Driver must fulfill the term of the temporary posting. Then the driver may re-sign on another temporary posting until the driver is awarded a permanently run posting.
Displaced Drivers. A driver who has lost one or more of their schools will be contacted to discuss their right to (I)claim displacement, or (2) remain assigned to their current run.
Displaced Drivers. A displaced driver is identified as a driver who has lost one or more of their schools. This driver will be given priority to any run that is posted for a period of thirty (30) days. In the event of multiple displaced drivers, seniority shall govern. In the absence of an available posting, the displaced driver shall be offered the route of the lowest seniority driver. The lowest seniority driver shall be put on the spare drivers list. If the driver declines the route they will be put on the spare board.
