Dispatch Supervisor. The Dispatch Supervisor is one who is working and engaged in, but not limited to, supervising the employees performing work in the Police Dispatch Center. The Dispatch Supervisors will be under the direct authority of the Chief of Police and/or Police Commander.

Dispatch Supervisor. The employee or the Association shall submit the grievance in writing to a Dispatch Supervisor within twenty-one (21) days from the occurrence of the action alleged to be a violation or the employee’s knowledge of that action, whichever occurs later. The written grievance shall include: (1) a statement of the specific Agency action or lack of action which is the cause of the grievance; (2) specific provision(s) of the contract (by Article and Section(s) violated); and

Dispatch Supervisor. The Dispatch Supervisor will be appointed at the discretion of the Town and said appointment will not be subject to grievance arbitration. Dispatch Supervisor. A permanently appointed full-time employee of the Communications Department, within the bargaining unit, who has been appointed to provide non-disciplinary administrative tasks in addition to regular dispatching duties. The Dispatch Supervisor will assist the Police Chief in matters relating to the job performance of the dispatchers, as well as the implementation of Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, General orders and Directives. All disciplinary decisions will be made by the Chief or designee.
