DISCOVERY OF THREATENED AND ENDANGERED SPECIES. 1. If a specific habitat feature for a federally listed threatened or endangered species is encountered, the Purchaser shall suspend all operations in the vicinity of the observation or discovery and immediately notify the Forest Officer. Operations may resume only if authorized by the Forest Officer. Habitat features identified and protected elsewhere in this contract are exempted from this clause.
