Directive. A Directive is a written document issued by the Owner and consisting of additions, deletions, clarifications or other written instructions issued by the Owner with respect to the performance of the Work or the activities of the Contractor on the Job Site or the property of the Owner. A Directive may include, but shall not be limited to, a bulletin, an engineering change or other orders or instructions. Directives may become the subject of a Change Order, either singularly or collectively. Directives shall become the subject of a Change Order if they involve a Change in the Work or a change in the Contract Time or the Contract Sum.
