Direct Application. The metal surface should be cleaned/degreased and then prepared by grinding or scarifying to ensure that it is clean and free from any contamination, such as rust or metal oxide. It should then be mechanically abraded to give a surface key. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ can then be installed onto the prepared surface using a Universal 2-Part epoxy Adhesive. NB: under no circumstances should a water-based adhesive be used for bonding directly to metal.
Direct Application. (a) This clause 4.2 applies if the Details state that the Owner will apply for Grid Connection Approval directly.
(b) The Owner will:
(i) make the application as soon as possible;
(ii) keep the Retailer updated on the progress of the application;
(iii) respond, within a reasonable timeframe, to any information or other requests from the distributor; and
(iv) promptly give the Retailer Notice of the outcome of the application.
(c) If the Owner complies with clause 4.2(b) and Grid Connection Approval is refused, the Owner may terminate the Contract and clause 8.1 will apply.
