Dining Dollars. Any unused Dining Dollars from the Fall semesters will rollover to the Spring semester with the purchase of a Spring Meal Plan (excludes Dining Dollar Only Plans). If the account holder does not wish to participate in the Spring Meal Plan (off-campus students only) any unused Dining Dollars will be forfeited at the end of the Fall semester: Last day of Fall meal plan Thursday, December 8, 2022. Unused Spring Dining Dollars will be forfeited at the end of the semester. May 4th, 2023. It is the student’s responsibility to monitor their Dining Dollar balance. This can be done by downloading the MyUSF app and selecting the Bulls Bucks button (this will show the Dining Dollars balance). Addtionally, students can log onto their Canvas account and the Dining Balance will show on their dashboard. Dining Dollar only plans are valid only for the semester purchased. Refund Policy: All purchases are considered to be final. Exceptions will be made for IT processing errors. All refunds for IT processing errors will be refunded to the credit card used for the purchase. All meal plans will be automatically reactivated for you to enjoy beginning January 9th, 2023. Dining Dollars. Dining Dollar$ account balances carry over from summer to fall and from fall to spring. All Dining Dollar$ expire the Sunday following undergraduate commencement in May. Dining Dollars for the fall semester are typically issued in late-July. Dining Dollars for the spring semester are typically issued the last class day of the fall semester. Once issued, Dining Dollar$ are not prorated and are not refundable, except as indicated to section V.F. of this contract.
Dining Dollars o The Dining Dollars provided with the meal plan may be used in approved food service locations for food purchases only, excluding vending machines. Usage is limited to $50 per day. Unused Dining Dollars at the end of fall semester will carry into spring semester. Unused Dining Dollars at the end of spring semester are forfeited. o Dining Dollars are provided to the student at no additional charge as a result of enrolling in the 14, 19, or Unlimited meal plans & the 225, 160, & 117 Block meal plan for the academic year. Additional Dining Dollars cannot be purchased. Any release or change from this contract before the contract end date may result in a dining dollars surcharge fee of up to the total dining dollars assigned to the meal plan. This charge is in addition to any penalty charges or prorated meal plan charges.

Dining Dollars. Dining Dollars are a declining balance plan that can be used at food service locations on campus (Dining Hall, Student Union Food Court, Convenience Store, food kiosks, etc. ). The food purchase is reduced from the balance available. You can view balances by logging on to xx.xxxxx.xxx ASSIST and clicking on the “Transactions History” link under the UTRGV Services tab. Unused balances will not roll forward to the next semester and are not transferrable to another person. GENERAL: Residents must present their University issued identification card (V OneCard) to utilize their plan at each food service location. Changes to meal plans are only allowed prior to the official census date of each semester.
