Developmental assessment Sample Clauses

A developmental assessment clause outlines the process and criteria for evaluating a child's developmental progress within an educational or care setting. Typically, this clause specifies the methods, frequency, and responsible parties for conducting assessments, such as periodic observations, standardized tests, or parent-teacher conferences. Its core function is to ensure that a child's developmental needs are regularly monitored and addressed, enabling early identification of potential issues and facilitating timely interventions or support.

The assessment must include: a review of the results of the evaluation, personal observations of the child, identification of the child’s needs in each developmental area in § 303.21 (a) (1), and be based on information obtained through an assessment tool and also through an interview with the family members who elect to participate.
