Developing Security Protocols. Given that risks and threats to online security are constantly evolving, Contractor will, on an ongoing basis, develop and implement security measures designed to protect against the latest risks and threats, consistent with current industry standards for online hosted software applications holding confidential data. Security Certificate. Contractor will ensure that all of its websites hosting the Software Application have attached to them a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and that such websites will include issuance of a SSL certificate, or other equivalent security certificate, to verify such websites’ identity and to enable secure and encrypted communications between Authorized Users and the online hosted Software Application.
