Developer’s Reliance Clause Samples
The Developer’s Reliance clause establishes that the developer is entitled to depend on the accuracy and completeness of information, documents, or representations provided by the other party, typically the client or owner. In practice, this means the developer is not responsible for verifying every detail supplied by the client, such as site surveys, design specifications, or regulatory approvals, unless otherwise specified. This clause helps allocate risk by clarifying that the developer is not liable for errors or omissions in information provided by the client, thereby ensuring clarity and protecting the developer from unforeseen liabilities arising from inaccurate client-supplied data.
