Destination Control Statement Clause Samples

A Destination Control Statement is a clause used in international trade and shipping documents to specify restrictions on the final destination and end use of exported goods. It typically requires that the recipient of the goods complies with export control laws and does not re-export the items to prohibited countries or end users. For example, it may be included on commercial invoices or shipping documents to inform all parties that the goods are subject to specific export regulations. The core function of this clause is to ensure compliance with export control laws and prevent unauthorized diversion of sensitive goods or technology.
