Design Software Clause Samples

The 'Design Software' clause defines the terms and conditions governing the use, ownership, and licensing of software created or used during the design phase of a project. It typically specifies whether the client or the designer retains rights to the software, outlines any restrictions on its use, and may address issues such as updates, support, or third-party components. By clearly allocating intellectual property rights and usage permissions, this clause helps prevent disputes over software ownership and ensures both parties understand their rights and obligations regarding the design software.
