DESIGN PLAN PHASE Sample Clauses

The DESIGN PLAN PHASE clause outlines the initial stage in a project where detailed plans, drawings, and specifications are developed before any construction or implementation begins. This clause typically requires the responsible party, such as an architect or designer, to prepare and submit design documents for review and approval by the client or project owner. It may also set deadlines, define deliverables, and establish procedures for revisions or feedback. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all parties have a clear, agreed-upon vision and scope for the project, reducing misunderstandings and setting a solid foundation for subsequent phases.

Contact the engineer of record to resolve any disagreements in design; 3. Submit a written summary to the Department of Administrative Services. This summary shall document the items reviewed and state a conclusion as to whether the stability and integrity of the primary structural support systems are in conformance with the requirements of the State Building Code. The summary report shall be affixed with the seal of a professional engineer (structural) licensed in the State of Connecticut.
