Design Phases Sample Clauses

The "Design Phases" clause defines the sequential stages involved in the design process for a project. It typically outlines distinct phases such as conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation, specifying deliverables, timelines, and approval requirements for each stage. This clause ensures that both parties have a clear understanding of the workflow, expectations, and responsibilities at each step, thereby promoting transparency and reducing the risk of misunderstandings or delays during the design process.

Design Phases. The Design-Builder, Architect, Consultants, and Contractors shall comply with the Owner’s guidelines, located at: ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇.▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. If Design-Builder believes compliance with the design guidelines would not conform to applicable laws or the applicable professional standard of care, Design-Builder shall so advise the Owner prior to performance of the Services at issue. The Owner’s review or approval of any design documents shall not relieve the Design-Builder of its responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of such documents.
Design Phases. The Basic Design Services to be provided by Design Builder and/or Design Build Architect-Engineer shall be performed in the phases described hereinafter and shall include all services customarily furnished in accordance with generally accepted industry practices for this type of professional design service consistent with the terms of this Agreement.
Design Phases. C.1.2.1 Design Builder shall undertake the Design in progressive phases, that shall include the following (each a “Design Phase”): 30% design phase; 60% design phase; 90% design phase; and Issued for Construction (IFC) phase. C.1.2.2 Each Design Phase shall further develop the information and detail submitted in a previous Design Phase. C.1.2.3 Design Builder shall submit each Design Phase submittal in accordance with Schedule 5Review Procedure.
Design Phases. 3.2.2.6.1 Following receipt of a Notice to Proceed with Design, the Design/Builder shall meet at least weekly with District and provide such information as necessary to inform District of the Project design status and obtain District input and approval regarding design issues. The Design/Builder shall be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the participation in these meetings. Design/Builder’s documents shall depict the materials, equipment, design, layout, and general coordination of each major building system (i.e.: structural, exterior closure, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc.) in sufficient detail to confirm compliance with the Criteria Documents. 3.2.2.6.2 Conduct value engineering analysis on building components to determine best value based on initial cost, life expectancy, cost of operation and maintenance. The value engineering analysis shall be performed concurrent with the Design Confirmation effort. 3.2.2.6.3 Prepare and update at each document submittal milestone detailed estimates of the cost of construction to substantiate that the Project will not exceed the NTE Amount. 3.2.2.6.4 Prepare and update monthly the detailed construction schedule to confirm Project delivery within the Milestone Dates. 3.2.2.6.5 Provide services to prepare plan layouts to reflect the requirements of all tenant departments.
Design Phases. 2.5.1 The Architect shall prepare Schematic Design Documents, Design Development Documents and Construction Documents that incorporate the Sustainable Measures identified in the Sustainability Plan, as appropriate. Throughout the design of the Project, the Energy Model will be used to validate achievement of the Sustainable Objective at key milestone dates identified in the Sustainability Plan as well as changes to the Project occurring at any time during design that may impact a Sustainable Measure or Sustainable Objective.
Design Phases. All costs associated with performing professional services as outlined in III shall be billed monthly and paid to Owner’s Representative by City on an hourly basis based on the rates established on Attachment 02 not to exceed $17,650.00.
Design Phases. The CONSULTANT shall provide 60%, 90% and Final phase submittals of plans, reports, and design documents to the COUNTY for review. The 60% phase submittal shall be a complete plans submittal for the PROJECT including general project plans and general details. The 90% plans submittal shall be a complete plans submittal for the PROJECT including general project plans and all details. This submittal shall include a complete specifications package. All design documentation, including design reports, calculations, notes, data, and engineer’s estimate of probable costs shall be provided with each phase submittal. The COUNTY shall provide all necessary topographic survey, utility survey, and survey of the pier to define plan footprint and location of all structures to be demolished. The COUNTY shall provide a hydrographic survey to produce a bathymetric contour map. Information from both the topographic hydrographic survey shall be used in the design and construction of the new pier. Survey limits shall be coordinated with the CONSULTANT. The CONSULTANT shall coordinate with the Pinellas County Parks & Conservation Resources Department as well as the Tampa Bay Pilots Association, the Egmont Key Ferry service, and the local users to include all stakeholders needs in the design. The COUNTY shall plan and schedule a public meeting and the CONSULTANT shall prepare exhibits and attend.
