Design and Construction Representative Clause Samples

The Design and Construction Representative clause designates an individual or entity to act on behalf of the owner or client during the design and construction phases of a project. This representative is typically responsible for communicating with the contractor, reviewing progress, approving design changes, and ensuring that the work aligns with the project requirements. By clearly identifying a point of contact and decision-maker, the clause streamlines communication, reduces misunderstandings, and helps ensure that the project proceeds efficiently and according to the agreed specifications.
