Common use of Deposit of Redemption Moneys Clause in Contracts

Deposit of Redemption Moneys. Upon Notes having been called for redemption, the Issuer shall deposit with the Trustee, on or before the redemption date fixed in the relevant notice of redemption, such sums as may be sufficient to pay the redemption price of the Notes to be redeemed, together with accrued interest, if any, and the estimated charges and expenses to be incurred in connection with such redemption. From the sums so deposited, the Trustee shall pay or cause to be paid to the Holders of the Notes called for redemption, upon surrender of such Notes, the applicable redemption price and interest, (less any applicable withholding taxes, to the extent required or permitted by law and the specific terms applicable to a Series of Notes) to which they are respectively entitled on redemption.
