Delivery/notification. The Contractor must give Authorized Users prior notice of when their bulk motor fuel product order will be delivered. The Contractor shall forfeit any applicable demurrage or diversion fees if prior notice is not given. When making delivery via their fleet, the Contractor shall provide Authorized Users with an estimated time of delivery using their proposed Fleet Tracking technology. However, for deliveries to unmanned locations, if the Authorized User requires their staff to be onsite at the time of delivery and provides a contact phone number, the Contractor will notify the Authorized User via phone at least one hour prior to arriving at the delivery location. When deliveries are made by a sub-contracted carrier, the Contractor shall notify Authorized Users of pending deliveries 24 to 48 hours ahead of time. All delivery notifications shall include the delivery window during which the truck is expected to arrive at the location.
