Definitions; Preamble. The ▇▇▇▇▇ Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board and the ▇▇▇▇▇ Haldimand Norfolk OECTA Occasional Teachers’ Bargaining Unit are committed to improve student achievement, reduce gaps in student outcomes and increase confidence in publicly funded education. 1.01 (a) "Teacher" shall mean any employee of the Board who falls within the term 'teacher' as defined in Part X.1, of the Education Act excluding occasional teachers, including any similar or subsequent legislation and who is engaged in a teaching function.
