DEDUCTION OF REGULAR DUES. Subject to the provisions of this Article, the Company will, in each pay period, deduct an amount equivalent to the regular Association dues from the pay of all employees in the bargaining unit. Where an employee does not have sufficient earnings in respect of any pay period to permit deductions, the Company shall not be obligated to make such deductions from subsequent earnings. The Company will cease making such deductions when an employee is assigned to a position not covered by an Agreement with the Association, with the exception of employees who are assigned to an acting or temporary management position for three (3) months or less.
