Deduction Acknowledgement. the Employer shall record on the T-4 slip of each employee, the actual amount of union dues deducted during the previous year. The Union agrees to indemnify and save the Employer and/or its agents harmless against any and all liability, which may arise by reason of deduction or attempted deduction and remittance, custody of and/or account of (save and except T-4 reporting) such amounts deducted by the Employer at the direction of the Union in accordance with Article 4.02.
