Common use of DCC’S GENERAL OBJECTIVES Clause in Contracts

DCC’S GENERAL OBJECTIVES. 2.1. The Contractor acknowledges that, under the SEC and DCC Licence, the DCC is required to comply with the General Objectives set out in Licence Condition 5 “General Objectives of the Licensee”. 2.2. The Contractor shall, in so far as the Agreement leaves any discretion as to how to perform its obligations under this Agreement: 2.2.1. perform its obligations under this Agreement in such a manner as to enable the DCC to comply with the General Objectives; and 2.2.2. not carry out any activity, or any combination of activities, in a manner which prejudices or impairs, or would be likely to prejudice or impair, the DCC's ability to comply with the General Objectives. 2.3. Subject to paragraph 2.2, to the extent that the terms of this Agreement do not address a particular circumstance or are unclear or ambiguous, such terms shall be construed in a manner which gives the fullest possible effect to the General Objectives.
