Database Storage Clause Samples
The Database Storage clause defines the requirements and responsibilities related to the storage of data within a database system. It typically outlines where and how data must be stored, who is responsible for maintaining the database, and any security or backup protocols that must be followed. For example, it may specify that all customer information must be stored on secure, encrypted servers and that regular backups are required. The core function of this clause is to ensure that data is managed securely and reliably, reducing the risk of data loss or unauthorized access.
Database Storage. Atelier Hosting offers mysql database storage for each hosting account. However, accounts with very large single databases can affect the overall server performance. Thus, we recommend that each database is kept under 200 MB in size. For accounts with databases over 500 MB in size, Atelier Hosting may request that the number of total database usage be reduced to ensure proper performance or may terminate the Subscriber's account, with or without notice.
Database Storage. Ranch Systems ensures all field data is transmitted from the field station(s) and stored in a secure central database. Ranch Systems utilizes redundant storage data centers protecting data from catastrophic damage to any single data center.
Database Storage. At a minimum the database must have user-level security, may not be housed on laptops or external media unless these are encrypted. Ideally the data should be stored on a central server with restricted access and not be stored on portable computer equipment like memory sticks, external hard drives and laptops.
