Data Owner. This is an OMH employee who oversees the use and content of the data. The “data owner” is often the unit of staff who oversees the content of the application which processes the data. This “owner” is responsible for determining who should have access to protected resources within their jurisdiction and what those access privileges should be. The “data owner” is also responsible for ensuring that the forms have been accurately completed.
