Data Model hierarchy, including metadata Clause Samples

Data Model hierarchy, including metadata. This Data Model provides semantic description of the content of the DataSets. This means that the Data model does not aim at describing the way to parse the scientific content of the Granules. However, it provides enough information to search into the DataSets in order to identify the Granules of interest for a given request. This data model shall also be easily updated to a higher level of description to provide syntactic access to the Parameters themselves. Parameters metadata are defined at the DataSet level. Granules inherit these metadata, except for the Parameters dimension ranges that change from one Granule to the other. A series of DataSets can be associated into a Collection that gathers various DataSets (e.g.: DataSets from the same instrument at different processing levels).
