Common use of Data Certification Clause in Contracts

Data Certification. 4.15.4.1 The Contractor shall certify all data pursuant to 42 CFR 438.606. The data that must be certified include, but are not limited to, Enrollment information, Encounter Data, and other information required by the State and contained in Contracts, proposals and related documents. The data must be certified by one of the following: the Contractor’s Chief Executive Officer, the Contractor’s Chief Financial Officer, or an individual who has delegated authority to sign for, and who Reports directly to the Contractor’s Chief Executive Officer or Chief Financial Officer.
